37-year-old Kansan dies in wreck Monday
A 37-year-old Junction City woman died after a wreck Monday afternoon on U.S. 40 near Bob Billings Parkway in Douglas County.
Kristina Robinson was eastbound as a car driven by a 20-year-old Lawrence man was westbound just before 2:30 p.m., according to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol.
As Robinson drove toward a curve, she lost control of her car, slid sideways and crossed into the westbound traffic, the report said.
The second car hit Robinson’s on the passenger side. Robinson died at the scene.
