Kansas man killed in single-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon
A 49-year-old Clay Center man died and his passenger was injured after a wreck at 4 p.m. Thursday in Clay County.
John Linn was driving a Mustang westbound on Broughton Road when he came upon slower traffic. He swerved to avoid other drivers and lost control of the car, a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol says.
The car entered the north ditch and overturned before coming to rest in the culvert, the report says.
Linn died at the scene. His passenger, a 41-year-old Marysville woman, was taken to the hospital with injuries.
