Man in critical condition after four-wheeler hits parked car
A man in his 30s was in critical condition Wednesday night after reportedly ramming a four-wheeler into the back of a parked vehicle near Second and Meridian, police said.
Wichita police Sgt. Nichelle Woodrow said the man fell off a four-wheeler after running into the car and sustained critical injuries just before 8 p.m. He was transported to Via Christi Hospital St. Francis, a Sedgwick County emergency dispatcher said.
When police arrived at the scene, in the 200 block of North Richmond, the four-wheeler was no longer there, Woodrow said. She said police think the four-wheeler is nearby in the neighborhood, but they are still working to identify it and determine whether it was properly titled.
“We’re trying to track down the four-wheeler and get identifying information,” she said.
