Public bike tour planned for Sept. 17
The Kansas Built Environment and Outdoors Summit is hosting a public bike tour for those interested in learning about Wichita’s bike and pedestrian master plan and related projects, according to a news release.
The tour will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sept. 17 starting and ending at the Bicycle X-Change, 908 W. Douglas.
Those without bikes will be given a bike, helmet and water bottle for the tour, which plans to go to several stops around downtown, to North Riverside and southeast of I-135 and Kellogg.
City engineers and planners will discuss the master plan and the projects with participants.
