Two people found dead; police asking for public’s help

Wichita police are investigating the deaths of two people who were found late Saturday in a home in east Wichita.

A 62-year-old mother and her 23-year-old son were found dead in a house in the 7500 block of East Huntington. They were discovered by a 22-year-old woman who found her two family members dead after she came home from work at 11 p.m. Saturday.

She immediately called police, and Wichita Police Department Homicide investigators are currently leading the investigation, according to Officer Charley Davidson, Public Relations Unit with the Wichita Police Department.

There have been no arrests made, Davidson wrote in a press release to local media. Police are saying they do not believe this was a random event and they are asking for the public’s help in solving the case. If anyone has information, they are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111.
