Victim found after search of mobile home that caught fire
One person was hurt when fire broke out at a south Wichita mobile home park Saturday morning, authorities said.
The fire was reported at 8:20 a.m. at the Twin Oaks mobile home park at 1915 W. MacArthur Road, a Sedgwick County emergency dispatch supervisor said. That’s about halfway between Meridian and Seneca in southwest Wichita.
It took firefighters only a few minutes to put out the fire. A search crew found the victim inside the mobile home.
The person’s injuries were minor, however. A damage estimate and cause of the fire have not been released.
