Tired of losing track of your luggage? Put your face on it
With holiday travel upon us, that old headache of keeping track of your luggage returns.
Raise your hand if you’ve ever stood at an airport baggage claim and seen black bag after black bag after black bag emerge on the carousel.
“Wait,” you think as the stack of black bags rolls past you, “was that one mine?”
A London company has come up with a way to help you — and others — know which luggage is yours. Firebox has created the Head Case, luggage covers that you can order with your face printed on it.
Travel + Leisure called it “the strange new way to keep track of your luggage.”
The two-sided covers drape over your luggage with a slot the handle fits through. The fabric is a combination of polyester and a spandex blend, so it’s stretchable.
Instead of wondering which suitcase is yours, you can ponder what picture to put on the cover: Your dog? Your grandson? Your “I’m going on vacation!” face?
Then again, you may want to print an angry face, so others won’t mess with your stuff. As Mashable put it, a giant picture of your face on your luggage is “horrifying, but practical.”
The possibilities are endless — not unlike that wait at the carousel can seem like when you missed your bag the first time around.
