Inmate dies at Cowley County Jail
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation has been called in to investigate a death at the Cowley County Jail in Winfield, authorities said.
The death occurred Thursday afternoon, Cowley County Sheriff David Falletti said in a prepared statement. The name of the person who died is being withheld pending the notification of relatives.
No additional information is being released.
