Pawnee County rollover crash kills Alva, Okla., man
A 22-year-old Alva, Okla., man died late Friday in a rollover crash near Larned, the Kansas Highway Patrol said in a crash report.
Jared Riley Streich was driving a 2002 Dodge Durango eastbound on U-56 when the SUV went off the road at around 9:15 p.m. Streich overcorrected and crossed the roadway, the highway patrol said, and then the SUV rolled twice and landed facing north.
The highway patrol said Streich’s 20- and 21-year-old passengers were injured. Both men also are from Oklahoma.
The crash happened about 2 1/2 miles west of Larned, in Pawnee County, according to the crash report.
