Bomb threat temporarily clears El Dorado’s Walmart

The El Dorado Police Department is investigating a bomb threat received Sunday afternoon at the local Walmart.

A store employee called police at 3:50 p.m. and said the store had received a call regarding a bomb threat, according to a Butler County 911 dispatcher.

The Walmart Supercenter is located at 301 Village Road in El Dorado.

Store employees and customers were evacuated into the store parking lot. No suspicious devices or injuries were reported during a search.

The all clear was given at 4:30 p.m., the dispatcher said.
