Cops and firefighters will battle it out during an Olympic-style boxing competition on Nov. 11.

The “Cuffs vs. Axes” boxing classic will benefit two nonprofits, the Honore Adversis Foundation and the Wichita Firefighters Charitable Fund. Proceeds will also go toward the Villa Boxing Club deliquency prevention program for at-risk youth in the Planeview area, a news release said.

Wichita firefighters will be paired with police officers based on age and weight class.

The event will start at 7 p.m. at the Wichita Sports Forum, 2668 N. Greenwich.

General admission tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for kids 10 years old and younger and active EMS, fire, law enforcement and military personnel. VIP tickets to the “Heroes Loft” will be $135 with unlimited food and drinks provided for the evening. There are 250 seats available.
