Workshop to help parents keep kids safe on Internet
A workshop to help parents learn how to keep their children safer on the Internet will be offered over three evenings by K-State Research and Extension.
Police detective Jennifer Wright of the Exploited & Missing Child Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force will present Internet 101 for Parents at 5:30 p.m. April 9, 16 and 23. The sessions will cover such things as how to investigate where information is kept on a computer and locate the origin of some of the communications received by children.
