Cause of downtown building fire not yet determined
The Wichita Fire Department is investigating the cause of a fire that occurred Sunday in a building in downtown Wichita. As of Monday afternoon, the cause was still unknown.
The fire started shortly after 3:45 p.m. Sunday at 150 N. Main. Flames were discovered in the vacant multi-story building between the first and second floors, according to Brad Boyd of the Wichita Fire Department.
The fire caused more than $75,000 in damage to the structure.
