Kansas one of most patriotic states, WalletHub study says
Kansas is one of America’s most patriotic states, according to one study.
The personal finance website WalletHub recently ranked all 50 states on their patriotism, placing Kansas as the 15th most patriotic.
The states with the most national pride were, in order, Virginia, Alaska and Wyoming. The three least patriotic states were listed as Massachusetts, Illinois and New Jersey.
Oklahoma placed one spot ahead of the Sunflower State while Nebraska was slotted just after it.
WalletHub said it put together a system of metrics to score how well states show their national pride from sources like the U.S. Census Bureau, Department of Veterans Affairs and the Center for Information and Research on Civic Learning and Engagement.
