Wichita weather: A few storms possible on Sunday and again Tuesday
Showers and thunderstorms will dot the holiday weekend forecast in the Wichita area.
There’s a decent chance of storms Sunday afternoon, when highs will climb to the upper 80s, forecasters say. Light winds out of the south can be expected.
Monday will see a reduced chance of thunderstorms, forecasters say, when partly sunny skies will help temperatures climb into the low 90s. Chances increase Monday night and will persist through the day on Independence Day, when highs will again be in the low 90s.
