Watch your speed this holiday weekend — the Kansas Highway Patrol will be
Holiday travelers had best not forget the rules of the road: The Kansas Highway Patrol has several traffic enforcement efforts planned for Independence Day weekend.
That includes K-177, a popular scenic drive through the Flint Hills, on Saturday morning. Troopers will be watching for speeders between 8 and 11 a.m. Saturday.
Monday will feature several saturation patrols, including I-135 and I-235 in Wichita late Monday night and early Tuesday morning.
Troopers will again focus on speeders in the Wichita area on Wednesday, with an eye on I-235 and 25th Street North between 10 a.m. and noon.
