Police, deputy cadets to graduate Friday from law enforcement academy
More than 20 law enforcement cadets will graduate from the training academy on Friday.
The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. at Central Community Church at 6100 W. Maple. The class includes 16 Wichita police officers and five Sedgwick County sheriff’s deputies.
The graduates completed 24 weeks of training and will now embark on several weeks of field training, with each assigned as a partner to a veteran law enforcement officer.
