Grain truck crash sends driver to Wichita hospital
A grain truck accident Thursday afternoon sent a Reno County man to a Wichita hospital, authorities said.
A 74-year-old man from Arlington was driving a full grain truck at about 3 p.m. Thursday when it overturned as he was negotiating a turn onto Langdon Road, Reno County Sheriff’s Deputy Keaton Berger said in a post on the department’s Facebook page.
Tire tracks at the scene indicated the driver took too wide of a turn from Castleton Road to Langdon Road and crashed into the west ditch, Berger said. He was flown by medical helicopter to Wesley Medical Center for treatment.
