Eric Fisher Academy to host benefit to aid child battling a brain tumor

The Eric Fisher Academy cosmetology school will host the Carter Tough Donation Day on June 21. The event will benefit Carter Roberts, 6, who is battling a cancerous brain tumor.

All haircuts, facials and brow and lip waxing proceeds will be donated to the Roberts family in order to help with medical expenses. Additional donations will also be accepted.

The event, which runs from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m., will take place at 6727 W. Central. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 316-440-5555, extension 1.

The next event to support the Roberts family is a golf tournament on Sept. 9.
