West Wichita fire is two-alarm blaze

Wichita fire crews battled a fire Monday evening in the 700 block of North Country Acres, near Central and Ridge, in the Colony West apartments, according to a Sedgwick County 911 dispatcher.

Several streets were blocked off in the immediate vicinity, the dispatcher said.

One person is reported to have serious injuries.

The fire was reported shortly before 8 p.m. Monday and was considered a two-alarm fire.
