Crews repairing water main on South Rock Road
A leaky pipe left about 200 customers near the 1900 block of South Rock Road without water Thursday afternoon, the city said in a news release.
Crews are repairing the 12-inch water main and expected service to be restored later Thursday. The leak was discovered Thursday under a sidewalk along the stretch of South Rock, near Pawnee, the city said. Its cause was unknown when the city announced the outage at about 4 p.m.
The water main was installed in the early 1970s, city officials said in the release.
