Blarney Breakfast raises $58,200 for Rainbows United

Tuesday morning’s 40th Blarney Breakfast raised more than $58,200 for Rainbows United, which serves special-needs children from birth to age 21.

The annual event, held at Old Chicago East, drew more than 1,250 people, according to a news release from Rainbows United. Proceeds benefit Rainbows’ Targeted Case Management program, which helps families identify and access available resources for their children.

Part of the money also will help provide specialized equipment for special-needs children, according to another news release.
