Want to own an old police cruiser? Now’s your chance.

Twelve retired Wichita police patrol cars are among 214 items that will be sold in city’s latest online-only surplus auction. Bidding ends at 10 a.m. on May 23. Vehicles and equipment up for grabs include old fire trucks, shuttle buses, cars, trucks, a compact loader, a brush chipper and a concrete breaker.

The 2009 to 2011 black-and-white Ford Crown Victorias used by the Wichita Police Department were going for as little as $325 early Monday afternoon. The agency’s decals, light bars and other police equipment aren’t included.

Auction items, which are sold as and where is without warranty or guarantee, can be inspected from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Central Maintenance Facility, 1801 S. McLean in Wichita.
