Salvation Army giving away free fans to eligible seniors, families

The Salvation Army at 350 N. Market is distributing 107 fans Wednesday afternoon to help Wichitans beat the heat.

The give-away starts at 2 p.m.

The fans were donated by Westlake Ace Hardware.

The Salvation Army is requesting the fans go to low-income seniors, qualified families with children and adults with disabilities.
