Man hurt in I-135 crash in serious condition
A man injured in a one-vehicle crash Tuesday night on I-135 is in serious condition at a Wichita hospital, authorities said.
Frank Crawford Jr., 80, was driving north on I-135 when he exited at Hydraulic shortly before 10:45 p.m. Tuesday, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol accident report. He lost control of the 2004 Cadillac DeVille and entered the grassy median, where it struck a culvert and continued across the ramp and went into the ditch, where it overturned.
Crawford was taken to Via Christi Hospital St. Francis for treatment.
