Partnership may help two veterans find work

A partnership between The Mission Continues and Wichita Habitat for Humanity will allow two post- 9/11 veterans adjusting to home to find work.

The fellowship involves 20 hours of service per week for 26 weeks at Wichita Habitat for Humanity as either a construction crew coordinator or a community engagement coordinator, according to a release issued Wednesday by Habitat for Humanity.

Once selected, the veterans will attend a three-day orientation before joining other post- 9/11 veterans for a weekend of training, service and camaraderie.

Applications for the 2017 Bravo Class are due Jan. 17. Orientation will take place in Denver from April 7 to 9.

The fellowship runs April 10-Oct. 7.
