Order a burger from a cop for a cause Saturday
Order a burger from a cop on Saturday to help out Special Olympics.
Members of the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office and Special Olympic athletes will serve customers at Red Robin, 9990 E. 13th St. N., Saturday from 5-8 p.m. for an event called “Tip-A-Cop.” All tips given to staff during the event will be donated to Special Olympics.
Coca-Cola and Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics also partnered for the event, according to a Sedgwick County news release.
Other Kansas law enforcement departments and Special Olympics programs are hosting the fundraiser Saturday at Red Robin locations around the state:
▪ Topeka: 6230 S.W. 6th St., 5-8 P.M.
▪ Olathe: 20155 W. 153rd, 11 a.m.-8 p.m.
▪ Overland Park: 8657 W. 135th, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 5-8 p.m.
▪ Overland Park: 7111 W. 95th St., 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
