Magnitude-3.5 quake shakes Wichita
An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.5 struck just southwest of Medford, Okla., at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake was felt in Wichita.
A magnitude-2.7 earthquake struck 20 miles northwest of Fairview, Okla., about 15 minutes before that. Each of the quakes’ epicenters were about a mile deep, according to initial estimates.
