Large knife gets pulled in dispute over who’s next at Wichita Burger King
An argument about a place in line at a Burger King drive-through in Wichita led to a man threatening another with a large knife, Wichita police said Friday.
It happened this way, Sgt. Nikki Woodrow said: Around 10 p.m. Thursday, two employees in a Burger King in the 4200 block of East Harry heard someone arguing over the drive-through intercom.
In the drive-through lane, a 57-year-old man was standing outside a car window holding a knife, 6 to 7 inches long, near a man in the car, Woodrow said.
Two vehicles apparently involved left the restaurant, police stopped them a few blocks away and arrested the 57-year-old.
