Kansas clinics get federal money for health information technology
Sixteen Kansas health clinics were awarded nearly $1 million from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on Thursday to improve the clinics’ health information technology.
Three Wichita health centers were among the award winners: GraceMed Health received $114,599, Hunter Health Clinic received $68,854, and HealthCore Clinic received $48,052.
The funding was part of a national effort to improve electronic record keeping. Clinics across the country received $87 million in total for the enhancements.
