Paleterias Tropicana in Wichita temporarily closes after employee contracts COVID-19
An ice cream store in north Wichita is closing after an employee was infected with the coronavirus.
Paleterias Tropicana at 21st and Amidon said in a Facebook post that an employee tested positive for COVID-19.
“In order to protect the health and safety of our employees and customers, we will be temporarily closed and disinfecting our store,” company officials said.
Paleterias Tropicana is a Mexican ice cream store based out of Kansas City.
