1 Million Cups features Make It Easy Autos

The founder of a website for finding cars to purchase made a presentation at Wednesday’s 1 Million Cups ICT event.

1 Million Cups ICT is a weekly gathering designed to aid entrepreneurs by making contacts in the community and gaining awareness. It meets from 9 to 10 a.m. on Wednesdays. Next week’s event will be at Wichita State University’s Old Town offices, 238 N. Mead.

Make It Easy Autos

Founder: Nick Penka

Pitch: Penka created a website, www.makeiteasyautos.com, where people can search for cars across multistate areas. One of his big selling points is that people can search local dealer inventory without supplying contact information and can bargain electronically.

Status: Based in Springfield, Mo., he has 20,000 new and used car dealers in Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Kansas. He is negotiating with Wichita dealers to put their inventory on the site.

Need: Local dealers to sign on. He is also looking for investors.
