Walmart Neighborhood Market to open in Rose Hill

A new Walmart Neighborhood Market will open Wednesday at 120 W. Rosewood in Rose Hill.

The store will have a ribbon-cutting event at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, and then be open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday, according to a news release from Wal-Mart.

The store will provide an assortment of merchandise, including groceries, fuel and a pharmacy.

The store will employ about 30 full- and part-time people, and Benjiman Barnes is the store manager.
