Aldi to host job fair

Discount grocery chain Aldi will host a job fair at its Derby store from 4- 8 p.m. on Aug. 6, according to a news release.

The retailer is hiring for the positions of store associate, shift manager and manager trainee for all of its Wichita area locations. The fair will take place at the Hampton Inn Derby, 1701 E. Cambridge St. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and be available to work anytime between the hours of 6 a.m. and 11 p.m.

Pay for Aldi employees starts at $12 per hour and retail experience is preferred, according to the release. Aldi operates more than 1,400 stores in 32 U.S. states, primarily from Kansas to the East Coast.
