Hobby Lobby to open store in Derby
Hobby Lobby is coming to Derby.
The Oklahoma City-based retailer said it plans to open a store in Derby Marketplace this fall.
Derby Marketplace is at 71st Street South and Rock Road.
Hobby Lobby spokesman Vince Parker said in an e-mail to The Eagle on Friday that it will construct a 55,000-square-foot building for the new store.
“We feel that we can bring a very unique shopping experience to the area,” Parker said in the e-mail. “We are looking forward to becoming part of the community.”
Hobby Lobby operates two stores in Wichita, 2425 N. Greenwich and 655 N. Ridge.
