Dillons now offering same-day online ordering, pickup

Dillons stores will now offer same-day online ordering and pickup at locations in the Wichita area, according to a news release.

The grocery chain made the announcement this week. Kroger, the parent company of Dillons, rolled out the ClickList service at some stores in Wichita this summer, though orders had to be placed before midnight the day before pickup.

The change means that customers will be able to order items and pick them up on the same day, though they will need to order at least four hours in advance of the scheduled pickup time. Items are picked up in a designated lane outside the store.

“That means you can now place a ClickList order at noon and pick your groceries before suppertime,” Sheila Lowrie, a Dillons spokeswoman, said in the release.

All six Dillons stores in the Wichita area, including locations in Andover and Derby, that offer ClickList will now offer the same-day service. The service is offered seven days per week from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m.

ClickList orders typically cost an extra $4.95, though the company said it will waive the charge for a customer’s first three orders. For more information about the program or to sign up to order, visit dillons.com/clicklist.

Kroger has 81 Dillons stores in Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska. 
