Wichita home prices rose 3 percent in March from a year earlier
Wichita-area home prices continue to rise, showing an increase of 3 percent in March compared to March 2015, according to real estate analyst CoreLogic.
In Kansas, the price increase from a year ago was 3.5 percent. Nationally, it was 6.7 percent.
Nationally, since hitting bottom five years ago, home prices have appreciated almost 40 percent, according to the company.
The company projects that in the year to come, home prices nationally will rise another 5.3 percent.
