Martens earns NAI Global community award

Steven Martens, CEO of NAI Martens, was recognized by NAI Global with the real estate brokerage network’s first Pillar of the Community Award, according to a release.

Martens was selected based on his “individual commitment supporting local charitable and nonprofit organizations,” according to the release.

“The award is a way for us to acknowledge an individual who fully embraces philanthropy,” said Jay Olshonsky, NAI Global president, in the release. “We are proud to present Steve with the Pillar of the Community Award.”

Martens has been involved with works related to the United Way, United Methodist Open Door, Greater Wichita Economic Development Coalition, Wichita State University Foundation, Junior Achievement of Wichita and Exploration Place, among other causes, according to the release.

“Bettering the community doesn’t just help make it a better place to live, it helps businesses grow,” said Martens in the release. “I am glad that NAI Global recognizes the importance of this commitment.”

NAI Martens is a member of NAI Global, a global network of owner-operated commercial real estate brokerage firms, and provides commercial real estate services throughout Kansas with offices in Wichita and Topeka.
