Wichita home prices in September 2014 were 1.3 percent higher than they were in September 2013, according to national real estate data and analytics firm CoreLogic.
Excluding distressed sales, such as short sales, local home prices increased by 1.6 percent in September compared to the year before.
For the state as a whole, home prices had risen 4.3 percent in September, compared to the same time a year ago. Excluding distressed sales, prices had risen 5.0 percent.
