Vornado seeks to expand Andover warehouse

Vornado will ask the Andover City Council tonight for $1.2 million in industrial revenue bonds to expand its operations.

The company, which assembles fans, heaters, air circulators, humidifiers and purifiers, among other products at its plant at 415 E. 13th in Andover wants to build a 30,000-square-foot expansion to its warehouse, according to city administrator Sasha Stiles.

The compay had 85 workers as of the end of 2013, according to the city.
