Start-up gaming company moves into 125 N. Market rent free for a year

The owners of 125 N. Market have given a local gaming company free office space for a year.

54 Hour Game Co. moved to its 856-square-foot office this week, according to a release from Security National Life Insurance Co., the Salt Lake City firm that owns the 19-story building.

The gaming startup won the free lease for one year after it won the Judge’s Choice award at the spring Startup Weekend entrepreneurship event.

54 Hour Game has developed a card game called Crash & Burn that incorporates a mobile app.

“It’s exciting to have a start-up venture like 54 Hour Game Company join our roster of tenants,” Bryce Baker, Security National Life’s vice president of real estate, said in a news release. “We are committed to keeping businesses in downtown Wichita and fostering the growth of new ventures like this. It’s a win-win for downtown, and for the city as a whole.”

The company’s offices are on the 14th floor of 125 N. Market.
