Via Christi to offer 2 events to help people enroll for insurance

Via Christi Health will offer consumers help with health insurance enrollment in the days before the open enrollment period ends.

Through the federally funded CARE program, Via Christi will hold two events designed to help consumers better understand the requirements of the Affordable Care Act and to purchase insurance on the online exchange.

The open enrollment period ends Sunday.

Certified insurance navigators will be at events to assist people interested in purchasing insurance on the following days:

▪ On Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Via Christi Institute conference room at St. Francis hospital, 929 N. St. Francis.

▪ On Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., in Conference Room 2037 and 2038, also at St. Francis hospital.
