Leadership changes at Via Christi

Via Christi Health announced a couple of leadership changes Tuesday.

Kevin Strecker switched senior administrator positions from Via Christi Hospital St. Teresa to Via Christi Clinic. Strecker also oversees the Neuroscience service line.

At Via Christi Clinic, he replaces Kim Shank, who retired in April.

At St. Teresa, Claudio Ferraro will take over Strecker’s role and will also serve as the administrative leader for Via Christi’s Oncology and Radiology service lines.

The new roles for Strecker and Ferraro are part of a larger effort by Via Christi to lower its administrative costs. Last week, the hospital system announced it would lay off 70 employees.

Via Christi’s new CEO, Mike Mullins, will start July 1.
