Via Christi names new executive leader
Via Christi Health announced Mike Mullins as its new leader on Wednesday.
He replaces Jeff Korsmo, who left for a job in Minnesota earlier this month.
Mullins currently is the chief operating officer at St. Vincent Health in Indianapolis. Via Christi’s parent company, Ascension, owns St. Vincent Health.
“Mike’s experience and skills as a healthcare leader will help Via Christi meet the evolving needs of our patients and their families in Kansas,” B. Anthony Isaac, a Via Christi Health Board member, said in a news release. “We look forward to working closely with Mike as Via Christi continues to provide the highest-quality care and an excellent patient experience to everyone we serve.”
Mullins’ titles will be senior vice president for Ascension Health and executive leader of the Kansas Ministry Market. He will function as the CEO of Via Christi Health. Mullins will start in his position at Via Christi on July 1.
