Kansas Surgical buys Slate Creek Spa, to merge operations
Kansas Surgical Arts said Tuesday it has acquired Slate Creek Spa and will merge its operations on July 14.
Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed in a news release from Kansas Surgical Arts.
Kansas Surgical said the acquisition will add massage therapy to the practice’s services. It also will increase Kansas Surgical’s staff and selection of aesthetic treatments.
“We’re excited for this transition to work with a great team and to be able to offer our clients two locations,” Kit Slater, Slate Creek owner, said in the release.
As part of the merger, Slate Creek staff will move from 5618 W. 21st to Kansas Surgical’s east and west offices — 10096 E. 13th, Suite 140 and 4013 N. Ridge, Suite 110 — after July 10, a Kansas Surgical official said in an e-mail to The Eagle.
Kansas Surgical Arts is a general and cosmetic surgery practice founded by Stephanie Oberhelman.
