From Wesley workers to Wichita: Thank you for your support

Staff members at Wesley Medical Center gathered at Central and Hillside on Thursday afternoon to thank the city of Wichita for its support and effort during the coronavirus pandemic.

Wesley CEO Bill Voloch said the city’s efforts with social distancing and other measures have helped control the spread of the COVID-19 in Wichita. What residents have done has helped Wesley Medical Center, and other area hospitals from reaching their capacity, he said.

“Right now we’re doing well,” Voloch said.

‘We’ll see how the next phase goes, but for right now, we’re doing well. I think our community has done a great job.”
