Office buildings on north Woodlawn sold to chiropractor, orthopedic doctors
Two buildings have been sold in northeast Wichita to health care providers.
Rod Stewart of KW Commercial said chiropractor Melody Shubert purchased a 7,000-square-foot building at 2456 N. Woodlawn, 5,000 square feet of which is expected to house her practice following a remodeling project. The remaining 2,000 square feet will be occupied by an office tenant, Stewart said.
He said that Kansas Orthopaedic Center has purchased the building that it occupies at 2450 N. Woodlawn. The building is about 5,600 square feet and has been leased by the orthopedic group since 2011. He said the group had an option to buy the building at the end of its lease.
In both sales, Stewart represented the San Diego-based owner of the properties. Leisa Lowry of J.P. Weigand & Sons represented Kansas Orthopaedic in its acquisition.
Stewart did not disclose the sales price of either building.
