Via Christi named to list of ‘great oncology programs’
For the second year in a row, Becker's Hospital Review has named Ascension’s Via Christi Hospital St. Francis to its list of 100 hospital and health systems with “great oncology programs.”
Hospitals and health systems are chosen based on their rankings, designations and achievement awards.
The University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City was the only other Kansas hospital named to the list.
“It truly takes a team to provide outstanding cancer care and we’re blessed to have a great one,” said Keisha Humphries, administrator for oncology services at Via Christi and the NCI Community Oncology Research Program, in a news release.
