Bryan and Brandi Foley planned their own wedding, and now they’d like to help plan yours.
The two are opening Wichita Wedding Cafe next month to, as Bryan Foley puts it, help brides “make their dreams become a reality.”
The Cafe will serve ideas, not food. The Foleys plan to have regular workshops for brides and grooms and connect them with vendors and learn about hosting weddings.
Initially, the business will be at the Chocolate Fountain Event Rentals store at 730 W. Douglas in Delano.

“We’re taking up a corner of their showroom,” Bryan Foley says. He says that’s only “until we can grow where we can get our own location.”
Foley says he thinks it will help the Fountain company, too.
“We’re going to be bringing brides into their store.”
On the first and third Wednesday of every month – maybe more if there’s a demand – the Cafe will have workshops with vendors such as florists and photographers. There also may be lessons on dancing or how to give toasts. Foley says there will be some unexpected classes on such things as wedding traditions “just to enhance the meaning of the day.”
“It’s just offering brides something new every time they walk in,” he says.
Foley says he’s had a lot of experience as DJ and master of ceremonies for weddings and receptions.
“I have 20-some years in the wedding-entertainment business.”
In addition to helping couples, Foley says he’ll be helping his business and other businesses that cater to weddings and receptions, too.
“By helping our business grow, that’s going to help other businesses prosper.”
