All Paws Pet Center to move east-side store to Village at Greenwich

All Paws Pet Center owner Paul Baumann is moving his east-side store to one of two new centers that will be built at the Village at Greenwich, which is at the northeast corner of 21st and Greenwich.

“This gives us an opportunity to really make this a store unlike anyone’s seen in Wichita,” Baumann says. “It’s just going to be a nicer version of All Paws.”

All Paws has a west-side store at 13th and Maize Road, a Derby store and a current east-side store in the Tallgrass Shopping Center next to Dillons at 21st and Rock Road.

“It’s the busiest of the three, but it’s the smallest space,” Baumann says of that store’s 4,500 square feet.

“It’s more densely populated over there, obviously,” he says of that area.

Baumann says he likes the center but that his store is landlocked. He says he looked at staying.

“It just didn’t work out.”

The new store will be 5,500 square feet and will allow room for a couple of self-serve dog washes like the other All Paws stores have.

All Paws also sells dog and cat supplies, such as toys, treats, food, bedding and apparel.

Baumann says he’ll be able to display merchandise in a new way at the new store and will have upgraded finishes as well.

He says the store will have more parking in general along with more parking right in front of the store.

“It’s going to be easier to get in and out of.”

Scott Harper of Landmark Commercial Real Estate handled the deal.

Along with changes he’s sharing now, Baumann says there’s more to come when the new All Paws opens in October.

“There will be a few surprises.”
